The entire staff is awesome, the doctor is so carrying and thorough. The nurse always cheerful even when I talk to her on the phone, she is really nice and professional and I love how she made my son so comfortable at his visit. My son hates going to the Doctor and cries every time but she was patient with him and played with him until he was comfortable. And for that I will recommend Peach neurology to any parent who’s looking for a pediatrics neurologist.

At every appointment, she speaks directly to my son and explains everything very patiently so he understands his condition and treatment plan. The office staff is friendly and wonderful too. Anytime we call for a prescription refill or any other needs, they return the call in a timely manner. Scheduling regular appointments and EEG procedures also has been a smooth process. Our... read more journey began with a previous neurologist, Dr. Berenson from Panda Neurology, who wanted to leave us hopeless and discouraged. He dismissed our concerns and offered no viable solutions, suggesting we learn to live with it because this is what happens to kids with Autism. The medications he prescribed not only failed to alleviate our daughter's seizures but caused her to have more. Our experience took a remarkable turn when we someone suggested we go and see Dr. Kohilavani at PEACH Neurology. From the moment we walked into her office, we sensed a genuine care and dedication from the staff. She took the time to listen to our concerns and provided us with a wealth of information and guidance with this journey. I cannot thank Dr. Kohilavani and her staff enough for the positive difference they made in our daughter’s life. I often recommend her to parents seeking a neurologist. My son was diagnosed with epilepsy 12/2022. We originally had a neurologist assigned by the hospital. While they were nice, they were impossible to get a hold of and frankly... read more didn’t seem to care my son was still having multiple seizures a day. So I did my research and found Dr. Vela. To say she and her staff are a breath of fresh air is an understatement. They worked us in quickly and Dr Vela worked her magic to get the seizures under control. The whole staff are wonderful. You can always speak with someone same day if you need anything. My son absolutely loves them. I would highly recommend any one to go visit them.

The doctor was very personable with our kiddo and such a kind woman who genuinely cares and is passionate about her field. The tech who performed the EEG I'm a little iffy about as she was not so personable nor kid friendly. The jury is still out on the tech - perhaps she was having a bad day - still no excuse. But so far, I am happy with the choice of making Dr. Velayudam our new neurologist. I will share this experience with FB and my special needs parents.
